SESSION 1: Saturday July 18th
and
SESSION 2: Saturday July 25th

@ The Nook Gallery
18 Progress Street, Mornington 3931 VIC

Time: 10AM - 1PM

Includes:

  • All art materials for you to use
  • Farm flowers, objects and animal references for you to draw
  • Morning tea-time (sweet and savoury) catered by HomeGround

Just bring yourself!

Emma will walk you through a way of constructing a drawing from life, and from scratch, using pencil, fineliners and watercolour. You will finish the class with a unique drawing of a subject of your choosing. While Emma will take you through a process, you are free to create a work as you please, at your own pace.

The space will be decked out with fresh farm grown native and wild flowers for you to draw on its own or in a bunch, as well as a collection of books and images of animals & plants if you would like to work from an image. (You are welcome to bring an image of something or actual flower you would like to try and draw too - we’ll have plenty though)!

This is a relaxed class that will give you an opportunity to have a go at learning a new process, or try working with some different materials. No experience is necessary, this is very beginner friendly - Up to 15 participants per session.

We will provide morning tea (catered by HomeGround) with batch brew coffee and tea (Commonfolk is next door if you want a nice latte as well!). We generally always have vegan and gluten free options available, but please let us know if you have any special requests, requirements or allergies and we will arrange something for you!

Teens are welcome to attend if they can happily manage the 3 hour session!
